Design an item inspired by a famous designer  Choose ONE of the following items Shelving Coffee table Media centre Sideboard Magazine rack Wine rack Stool Constraints Maximum dimensions 2400mm x 1200mm x 1200mm The item you choose must be able to be flat packed     DC designs has choosen to design a stool inspired by the famous Australian dfesigner Marc Newson Marc Newson (1963-) was born in sydney, Australia. He is a successful industrial designer who works in aircraft design, product design, furniture design, jewellery, and clothing. He incorporates a design style known as biomorphism to his various designs. This style uses smooth flowing lines, translucency, transparency and the absence of sharp edges to create a beautiful and ergonomic design My Initial 3 concepts                   Client conseltation Apon client conseltation Concept 3 was choosen to further the design processs 3 variations to the concept were constructed in scale perspective       Apon evaluation the origional concept was choosen Dimentions were then drawn up From those dimentions a scale prototype was constructed out of foam and aluminium       The flatpackability of the product was then decided on how the product is flat packed is shown in the diagram below From the provided dimentions and flatpackability, final scale perspective drawing were constructed and CAD solid works and rhino renders were created Rhino render    Rhino CAD render Solid works Render  Final prespective hand render Apon evaluation my design, i came to the conclusion that all my constraints and parameters of my design brief were met, resulting in a sucessfull design The design, if chosen by client will be furthered to a full sized working prototype
